Thank you for this interview. It's so nice to hear someone talk about (my) feelings spot on like this. Pulling it out of your insides isn't something we can switch on. I used to call it finding the "groove". Can't force it. But when it's there, it's there, and everyone present feels it and experiences it with the artist. Thank you Linda again, for conducting this interview, and giving so very much of your self. And thank you Derek Trucks for keeping the Soul going. Dig it.
Thank you Cooper. This was a rare pleasure to talk with Derek about Joe. We all want to get "there" and as Derek says some of us get to be there more often than others... but I also agree that it takes work. That work may or may not deliver us, but when it does, it's such a high. Joe took us all with him on that magical carpet ride of a Tour... it was the best thing I ever wished for when I wished to be a rock n' roll star myself. I got close! Twice, really. To be able to sing with TTB and my alumni friends on stage at Lockn' was a great highlight, made only that much greater to have had my daughters on stage with me there as well.
Thanks for your rich insights into the world of the musicians youʻve worked with over many decades, and for your absolutely GORGEOUS photos. Your introduction to posting the interview shows excellent insight as well. Well done!!
Thank you for all you give us!! There are no words how Grateful I am for you keeping Joe Alive thru your Art,Talent and Voice. You and I were most fortunate to know him deeper than the Rock Star he was, will always be. When I shared your name, your photos w him...I will never forget how his face, heart lite up🤗❤ You could see... That Genuine True Love, Joy come from his heart, smile!! Very few that Got that deep love, friendship from him. But You are one of those friends he loved, trusted. 🙏
I feel for you, and what it must have been like for a woman back in those early days in the world of photography Linda! I loved the photos and your interview with Derek, he too recognized the effort Joe put into his craft, much like most folks who had the privilege to see Joe Live! He truly projected the lyrics to a song, giving his heart and soul to every syllable from his lips ~ As I like to say, he wore his heart on his sleeve! I’ve never witnessed a performer who gave every ounce of his being into every song he ever performed! Thank for sharing Linda, and do enjoy the Fruits of Life🌹🌅❣️

I wish Joe Cocker was in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He deserves it.
