Nightingales, Mockingbirds, Sparrows, Robins, Eagles, Crows, Seagulls, Hummingbirds, Flickers…
In one of his songs from Dawn Chorus, Cosmo Sheldrake sings
“What do you do?
In May, I sing night and day,
In June, I change my tune,
In July, far off I fly..."
The whole world of our skies, everywhere, is bird sanctuary. Their chorus graces us in languages of life lived soaring, hunting, protecting, being, just being — stories of sky, tree and sea.
In this age of extinction these glorious voices will die. We must not let this happen. Life is too beautiful.
Take a break from spinning from thing to do, to thing to do.
Poet Musicians Cosmo Sheldrake and Sam Lee have honored us with the most glorious songs about birds.
Two years ago, this listener said, “@satinizer8021 “I'm mentally in a really bad place and this helped me to stop thinking about hurtful things for a while.”
Listen: Wake Up Calls was created by Cosmo over a nine year period, using recordings of bird song featured on the red and amber lists of endangered British birds (with the exception of a Robin and a Blackbird, which aren’t endangered – yet).

Jamming with Birds, a BBC broadcast
I wake up every morning to a painting of birds next to my bed, and the early morning wake up call from the Robins feeding the new borns outside the windows. I love birds.
Life is cruel and it is beautiful. What do you choose to focus on? What serves you to focus on? It’s your choice in any given moment? All is valid. Be good to yourself. Be kind to yourself. Be courageous. Beauty is just a blink away… DON’T MISS IT.
Nature IS God
She LOVES us and she kills us, that’s the way it goes.
So while we have life, LOVE IT
We are bird watchers here Linda, and we feed them and have a lovely bird bath for them too! We have lot of birds in the Park, and Jackie and I love our early morning gulf cart ride that is filled with the sounds of birds throughout our ride! The morning sky is my favorite too🌹🌅❣️
